Unveiling the BMW M5 Touring Facelift: A Sneak Peek at the 2027 Model (2026)

BMW's M5 Touring is set to receive a facelift, blending its future Neue Klasse DNA with the current model's features. The upcoming 2027 model has been spotted during cold-weather testing, showcasing a new front end and an updated interior. The design evolution is subtle, with a mid-mounted intake and a large lower opening, likely influenced by the disguise's twin kidney cutouts. The rear end remains largely unchanged, but the interior is set for a major upgrade with a panoramic iDrive display and a new 17.9-inch infotainment system. Under the hood, the V8 engine has been tweaked to meet Euro 7 standards, reducing power from 577 hp to 537 hp, while the combined system output remains unchanged at 717 hp. Despite the slight power drop, the car's performance is expected to remain robust, with software optimization of the electric drive compensating for the hardware changes.
